PDAs: Most PDAs can upload files using the default software that came with the device. For instructions on how to upload the files to your PDA, please refer to your instruction manual for your PDA’s software.
iPods: Your iPod must be setup as a hard disk; this can be done through iTunes. Apple has a great tutorial for setting up your iPod as a hard disk (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1478?viewlocale=en_US) as well as how to upload the text files to your iPod after you’ve saved them to your hard drive (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2234).
