“Considering that we have been in a depressed economy for many months, I am amazed that almost 62 percent of the school levies on the ballot statewide in 2009 so far have passed,” says Scott Ebright of the Ohio School Boards Association. “That success is greater than any year since 2000 in primary and special elections.” (Cincinnati Enquirer, August 17, 2009).
