The Ohio Department of Education Website
The Ohio Department of Education website (http://www.ode.state.oh.us) is a great resource for making sure that your staff understands and is implementing the Ohio Academic Standards. You will find the latest information for the various content areas. You can use these Presentations to inform your staff and form the basis for rich discussion.
For example, in Mathematics, the Ohio Department of Education’s Office of Curriculum and Instruction had the opportunity to present several sessions at the annual Ohio Council of Teachers of Mathematics (OCTM) Conference in Toledo, Ohio. There are user-friendly, ready-to-use PowerPoint presentations online that encompass the following topics in Math:
